Mid-Year Meeting
To: Members and Friends of the TRB Conduct of Research Committee
2007 Mid-Year Meeting is April 4-5, 2007
We are only a few weeks away from the Midyear meeting at the Beckman Center in Irvine California. I am so pleased that a significant number of you plan to attend. For those who are not able to attend, but would like to participate, we will be arranging teleconference capabilities.
Please let me know if you plan to participate by calling in so we can make the necessary arrangements.
As soon as possible, please register for the meeting and reserve your hotel room. Details for accomplishing this are provided below and in the attached e-mail. A group of us are currently planning the agenda and I'll be sending that soon.
Please register for the meeting through TRB's event registration Website. The details and the link are in the attached e-mail. The registration fee is $100 and this will cover 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, and breaks.
A room block has been reserved at the Hyatt Regency, Newport Beach, for the nights of April 3-6 at the rate of $122.00 ($110 plus 10% Occupancy tax, and $.16 Tourism Fee). In order to receive the special rate, please reference the TRB 2007 State Reps meeting when making reservations. The toll free number is: 1-800-233-1234 or link to the Web site listed below and use the group code provided. THE BLOCK OF ROOMS IS RESERVED THROUGH MARCH 13. After that date, room availability and the special rate are no longer guaranteed. As a reminder, State Representatives who serve on this committee received a separate e-mail from TRB indicating that TRB will cover their hotel costs for the extra days.
